Author Aldo Mazza (KoSA Music) has clarified a lot of historically incorrect knowledge and information about Cuban rhythms and music in this book. The exercises are explained clearly, making it easy to understand for beginning through advanced players. This book is aimed at both percussionists and drummers to learn the essence and traditions of this music as well as to take this knowledge of the tradition and musically adapt these rhythms to the drumset.
The included 75 full play-along audio tracks include written-out parts. 38 video clips will ensure accurate and thorough comprehension of concepts.
