Louie Bellson Music Fest – Centennial Drum Legends Shirt

A special edition shirt for the Bellson Music Fest, celebrating the Louie Bellson Centenial! Louie would have turned 100 years old in 2024 – this original design celebrates Louie and his incredible career and influence on drums and drumming.

About the Festival

The 3rd Annual Bellson Music Fest – A Centennial Celebration! will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the RB&W District in Rock Falls, IL. This year is a Centennial Celebration of the legacy of LOUIE BELLSON (1924-2009), the Rock Falls native who rose to become the renowned drummer, composer, band leader and six-time Grammy nominee. The event is hosted by Rock Falls Tourism who works closely with Bellson’s widow, Francine Bellson (louiebellson.com), and Josh Duffee (music director from Davenport, IA).

Steve Smith (former drummer for the iconic band Journey and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Member) will conduct a Drum Clinic from 11am to 12noon at the McCormick Event Center in Rock Falls.

Headliner Band will perform from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm – Steve Smith and Vital Information with Steve Smith (drums) Manuel Valera (keyboards) Janek Gwizdala (bass).

The Jerry Criss Band will perform from 12 noon to 1:30 pm

The Yorkville Big Band will perform from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.

The Rock River Jazz Band will perform from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.

Josh Duffee and His Orchestra will perform from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.
