Fretless: The Left Hand

Mark Egan introduces some fun exercises for the fretless bass that will help you with your left hand strength, dexterity, and intonation. The lessons are also useful for fretted players looking for left hand guidance. For beginning players.

In this pack, Mark Egan helps you to strengthen your left hand and build the habits that will lead to good intonation. As Mark says, intonation is of paramount importance to fretless players so when you are doing these exercises make sure you stop on a note periodically and check your intonation. You can check your intonation with the bass play back in Practice Mode, a tuner, a piano, or any other method as long as it helps you keep your notes in tune.
