Drum legend David Garibaldi (Tower of Power) and Hudson Music have teamed up once again to create a cutting-edge package for drummers, DG’z Loopz.
The “Loopz” are musical sections of songs, without drums, that can be looped to create a fun and funky practice environment. Some of the loops are only a few bars long, while others are complete songs. All are played by Garibaldi’s Tower of Power bandmates and other great musicians (including a performance from bass legend Rocco Prestia).
DG’z Loopz is a digital book package containing lead sheet-style charts for every loop, plus David’s recommended grooves for you to try. However, the package is designed for drummers to be able to create their own grooves and use the Loopz as part of a practice system to develop their own creativity. These Loopz also create a perfect practice/performance application for David’s previous books Future Sounds, The Code of Funk, and DG’s Notebook (The “Beat Trilogy”).

Once you have downloaded your eBook to your device, an internet connection will not be required to view it – the connection is only required for audio and video access.

Our play-along tracks are the perfect way to learn a new style, keep your chops sharp on something you already know, or just let loose and have some fun on the kit!
Each play-along features an audio track without drums, and detailed chart/transcription to guide you through the tune. When available, we also include a reference track with drums, so you can check out what another drummer played on the same track.
After purchase, you will receive a link to download your track and chart. Files are delivered in a .zip file that when expanded will include your audio track (usually as an mp3 file), and your chart as a pdf.
