“Drumming is my job, percussion is in my heart and bongo playing is my passion”.
With more than 25 years of experience, Lerryns is one of the most well-known drummers in Venezuela, where he has recorded and toured with many famous artists. Between 2007 and 2009, Lerryns played in over 40 performances of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar (Venezuelan version).
Other initiatives that are keeping Lerryns busy include The Bongo Project (on Youtube), The Bongo Project Trio and his instructional DVD “Reggae for Drumset” (released by Hudson Music in February 2010 through its digital platform).
Lerryns is currently working with the reggae artist El Forever in preparation of the release of their first album.
