November 5th – 8th, 2009, Kent Lineberry presented several marching percussion clinics for the British Youth Bands Association (BYBA).  Their national convention was held in Weymouth, England.  The events were attended by members and staff of bands, drum corps, and traditional / military style percussion groups in the country.  The clinics were organized by the BYBA administration, Sharron and Tony Patrick, and Dave Stones. Â
 Mr. Lineberry presented clinics focused on producing an open sound on marching percussion instruments, as well as ways to perfect rhythmic timing for the battery.  Kent lives in St. Louis, MO with his wonderful wife Debbie.  He works for the Rockwood School District, serves as the percussion coordinator for Rockwood Summit High School, is the battery caption head of WGI Independent World Class Finalist Gateway Indoor Percussion, and teaches on the percussion staff of The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps.  Kent is a Vic Firth Education Team member, a Pearl Marching Artist, Sabian Performing Artist, and Evans Performing Artist.
