Hudson Music’s Teacher Integration Program Redefines “E-Media” With Free TIPsheet.

Explaining that the “e” in “e-media” stands for “educational”, Mike Sorrentino, program director for Hudson Music’s Teacher Integration Project (TIP), has announced the availability of a new informational factsheet aimed at helping music teachers identify and apply a wider variety of educational media in their teaching studios and classrooms. The TIPsheet, which is available as a free download here, lists the different types of print, audio/video and electronic media and describes how each can be used to effectively enhance music instruction in both individual and group situations.

“We have the good fortune to be living in an era of unprecedented access to an incredible quantity and quality of educational support,” says Sorrentino. “TIP’s goal is to help music teachers utilize the best of these materials in ways that help young musicians develop to their fullest potential. The TIPsheet is a great first step to understanding the many media options that are available.”
